PPGMR Law's R. Scott Morgan Successfully Obtains Defense Verdict in Less Than One Hour

On July 28 and 29, 2014, PPGMR Law attorney R. Scott Morgan successfully defended Brookshire Grocery Company during a two-day federal jury trial against allegations of food poisoning via products from the store's deli department.  Under the theory of negligence, Plaintiff sought to recover compensatory and punitive damages in excess of one million dollars for alleged permanent injuries.  The eight-person jury empaneled by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, Hot Springs Division, returned a verdict in less than an hour in favor of Defendant Brookshire Grocery Company.
