The Law Review for the University of Arkansas School of Law has announced that it will host its Oil & Gas Symposium in El Dorado, Arkansas on October 15th-17th, 2014. On July 28 and 29, 2014, PPGMR Law attorney R. Scott Morgan successfully defended Brookshire Grocery Company during a two-day federal jury trial against allegations of food poisoning via products from the store's deli department.

According to a store productivity study recently released by eMarketer, convenience store chain Murphy USA is second only to Apple in sales per square foot. The study reveals that Murphy USA’s impressive $4,221 in sales per square foot exceeds the productivity of even luxury retailers like Movado, Coach, and Tiffany & Co.

In response to requests for an extension, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Army Corps of Engineers have extended the comment period for a revision to the definition of “waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act that was published on April 21, 2014 (79 FR 22188).
