PPGMR Attorneys Speak on Implied Covenants, Drones, and Data Security at Natural Resources Conference
PPGMR Law was recently honored to have several of its attorneys involved in the 56th Annual Arkansas Natural Resources Institute in Hot Springs. Jim Rankin, who is currently serving as Chairman of the Natural Resources Law Section of the Arkansas Bar Association, presided as Chairman of the conference. Micah Goodwin discussed the developing field of drone law and its implication for natural resources industries. Jeffrey Swann walked attendees through the maze of implied covenants in oil and gas leases under Arkansas law. Amanda Denton finished out the conference with comments on the ethical and legal oblications of collecting first- and third-party data.
