PPGMR Law Adds Startup Leader to Firm

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 29, 2014) – PPGMR Law, PLLC officials announced today that Jamie Fugitt has joined the firm and will be based in the firm’s Little Rock office.  Fugitt was previously associated with another law firm in the area.

“It was a major accomplishment for us to get Jamie on our team,” said Julie D. Greathouse, managing member of the firm. “His special knack for helping entrepreneurs form and grow their businesses has already been an asset to our existing client base, and I am confident it will be a continued bright spot for us going forward.”

Fugitt has a special focus on technology startups and entrepreneurs looking to grow their company through private investment. His clients include Bourbon & Boots, Inc., a Southern lifestyle ecommerce company; Picasolar, Inc., winner of the prestigious US D.O.E SunShot award for solar technology; and Fayettechill, LLC, a lifestyle and apparel company recently honored as an Arkansas Business of the Year. His practice includes corporate, securities, contracts, business management and governance, intellectual property, and internet and software law.

“PPGMR allows me to be a better lawyer for my clients, which is what matters at the end of the day,” said Fugitt. “I love being here. We provide high quality legal work on a national scale for a top-flight client list – all from a comfortable environment. I am excited to work with and learn from this team.”

He serves on the board of directors for the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, the Arkansas Fellowship and the Arkansas Motion Picture Institute. He also serves as a mentor for the ARK Challenge, an Arkansas-based technology startup accelerator, and the Cleantech Open, the world's largest cleantech-focused business program.
