Forrest C. Stobaugh earned his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude (Political Science) from the University of Central Arkansas in 2014 and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2018.
Before joining the firm, Forrest served as a law clerk to the Honorable Susan O. Hickey, United States District Judge for the Western District of Arkansas. Since then, Forrest has handled a wide variety of litigation matters at both the trial and appellate levels but focuses his practice in the areas of oil and gas law, brine and lithium law, environmental law, mineral rights title work, property and land use issues, regulatory matters before the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission, as well as commercial and environmental litigation.
Forrest frequently advises upstream, midstream, and downstream energy companies with respect to a diverse array of issues. Forrest also helps clients in their dealings with state and federal administrative agencies, including the US Environmental Protection Agency, Arkansas Division of Environmental Quality, Arkansas Pollution Control & Ecology Commission, and Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission, among others.
