Plant Board's Dicamba Task Force Recommends Restriction

The Arkansas Plant Board's Dicamba Task Force, charged with investigating the growing controversy surrounding the herbicide and recommending a plan of action to the Board, announced this week that it will recommend that dicamba not be used after April 15, 2018 for the 2018 growing season. The recommendation was not a unanimous decision from the Task Force, which had previously recommended a temporary 120-day ban on July 11, 2017. The full Plant Board will soon vote on the recommendation, which would also require approval from the governor and the Arkansas Legislative Council.
